Gorbiriel Of The Moonstone Reaches genuinely enjoys the new Masters of the Universe movie. He enjoys ronically! He did a review for the site and shit. He even has nice things to say about Jared Leto! I prefer my Letos encrusted with sandtrout and ushering Humanity along The Golden Path but, you know, to each his own.
As it featured Magic of various kinds, such Men were strictly forbidden in the house so I never really developed the kind of attachment that other boys did. I was trying to think about what I did instead, and it mostly involved going into the woods, eating berries I probably (absolutely) shouldn't have, and forming a salamander cult. You might think that not having any connection to major, age-appropriate cultural touchstones might have made social interactions more complex, and for somebody else that might have been the most salient issue. I'm not sure that knowing who Ram-Man is would have helped me bond with my peers socially. Knowing which He-Man characters were, in fact, He-Man characters definitely wasn't the issue.
When I was trying to set the family up with the newest David Tennant version of Macbeth, which you should absolutely watch, I saw that Masters of the Universe was included with Prime. And it is, but with commercials, and you can buy a subscription for your subscription to take the ads away. I understand this is old news but virtually every interaction I have with that company outside of buying a digital book has been so ground down, so abraded, that it feels just this side of legally actionable.
I have to interact with a variety of vendors in order for you to see these words, and almost every one of them has a degraded fundamental nature that makes them feel indistinguishable from scams. There is a box in the office that has first aid shit, and for months they claimed to be filling it and charging me for it after I cancelled it and they didn't even know where the new office was. I told them about this, and they swore they would talk to another third party about it, and I'm not sure they did because ghosts keep delivering these illusory balms yet sending material invoices.
I had an issue with the office Internet a couple months ago, it no worky, and after days of talking to people who had absolutely no business helping clients with technology and enduring their hedge wizard pronouncements and assurances that it was working, I had to build a whole new contact network of local contractors to get shit going again.
I bought a flight and virtually every seat on the plane had a surcharge. Spotify regularly promotes bands that don't exist. When I type the posts, the browser and the web-based documents app both are falling over each other to get underneath my cursor. They want to do what I do, but badly. It wanted to do it so much that I eventually gave in to one of them - I said that it should rewrite every paragraph to emphasize dongs, almost subconsciously. It said it couldn't do that. Well, that's all I'd ever want from you. So get the fuck out of my face.
(CW)TB out.
