I really want to make this year’s Child’s Play dinner auction the best that we have ever had and to do that I am asking for your help and I am asking for it early!
The auction will not be happening until November but I wanted to plant the idea that if you would like to make something for the auction, now is probably a great time to start. People love bidding on hand made one of a kind items and I know that our community is full of incredibly talented individuals. Over the years I have seen beautiful quilts, dolls, carvings, jewelry, clothing, paintings, and other crafted items related to games and gaming go for super high prices during the course of the evening. I know personally these are always the items I gravitate towards at the auction as well. So if you are a maker and you would like to help us bring gaming to kids in Children’s Hospitals all over the world now is your chance! Start sewing,drawing,sculpting or whatever it is you do today and I will share an address here on the site that you can send your goodies to once we get closer to November.
